7 Steps to Crucify Flesh Daily

Pray. One of the most powerful weapons you have, other than The Word of God, is prayer. Prayer is a means of communicating with God. This is the time that you should lay everything and I mean everything out before the Throne of grace, asking for victory and forgiveness. In prayer, we gain strength, clarity, peace, and comfort.

If you are struggling with something, sincerely take it to God in prayer, that he may help you gain victory over all things. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

Read your Bible. Whether you choose to do devotionals, bible studies or both. The important thing is that you are reading the living Word of God, that brings about true repentance and transformation. Reading the Bible with an open willing heart does wonders for the mind and soul. The Bible not only gives practical instruction but, it convicts and brings about change.

Which is the process of edification, bringing us closer and closer to the character of Christ. “Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 11:19.

Repent. Repentance is a turning away from sin. To crucify the flesh is to turn away from our sinful nature which is in the flesh. Galatians 5:19-21 explains this saying “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Include God in everything. God wants to not only be a part of our morning routine, but He wants us to welcome Him in every area of our lives, from morning to night. Surrender, invite, welcome Him, in the car while you’re driving. At work, at school, at the gym, at home, be intentional about your relationship with God. Listen, watch, or read something that will add to your spiritual life.

Whether that means listening to a sermon on your break at work or reading a quick devotional in-between class, or bible study podcast, or praise and worship music, just be intentional. This keeps your mind focused on Christ, which in turn helps you to not detour from the path of righteousness. Romans 12: 2 says “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Choose wisely. Every moment, we are faced with a decision to make; should I give in to the flesh or, yield to the spirit. Do good or do evil. Tell the truth or lie. We consciously or unconsciously make decisions. This is no different. One of the dilemmas we face as Christians is, whether to comply with the influence of the world and its corruptions or stand in agreement with Christ; abiding and walking in His principles.

“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.” Deuteronomy 30: 15-16.

In order, to choose wisely, it is imperative to know the clear-cut differences between The Holy and the profane. Knowing such differences plays a huge roll in discerning good from evil and evil from good. 2 Timothy 2:15 says “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Be doers of The Word. James 1:22 says “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” After you have chosen Christ, The Word of God, and His principles, you now must walk in the convicting light of The Truth. Not in word or lip service but in action and in love. With the help and guidance of The Lord, you will walk in obedience to His will and to His way. “This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16.

Be consistent. As I stated earlier in this article; when we neglect our personal relationship with Christ, it becomes easier and easier to backslide and give in to our sinful nature. But, consistency brings about good results and growth. “And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:4

As a pure gospel preacher myself with emphasis on repentance and the cross, I am delighted to read 7 Steps to Crucify Flesh Daily.

I am so happy to see that the author, who looks like like young lady, is bold enough to preach this.
Very few preachers in the world dare to preach this message on repentance and crucify the flesh daily.
The author has more backbone, courage, and integrity than most preachers/pastors in America.
But I believe it is of utmost importance because so many Christians, especially the fake ones, are not crucify their flesh daily.
Many sin but refuse to repent and crucify their flesh.
So messages like these are much needed. God will reward in His wisdom and timing.
    thank you, CHERLY~
May God continually increase His wisdom and power in your life and ministry.

Wow thank u for the message found in this article .. I made the words I have so often heard suddenly seem alive and suddenly become important … Consistency is so vital to our walking in the Sprit .. cause it’s a moment by moment decision to pick up our Cross and follow Him; imitate Him .. I see now that God is concerned about every single thing that concerns us because everything about us is important Like our friends the clothes we wear what we arch what we listen to who we listen to our hair where we live our job our conversations out thoughts the number of hair on our heads for if we are faithful in the small things we will be ruler over much if we listen to God for seemingly unimportant things like our food choices the clothes we chose to wear that day we will be able to hear him speak anytime concerning anything and we will obey the voice we have grown accustomed to listening to in the big and small things .. a single rain drop will cause us to lift our eyes up because we know a single raindrop could mean a downpour will soon follow … that’s what walking in the Sprit means to me .. recognizing every single LW thing carries importance In the e kingdom I if I am willing to care about such small things as God cares and yield in those moments In those choices I will yield to His will in all things … I will be walking in the Sprit ….it starts with being faithful in the small things .. with one drop .. if we look up in the small things and say not my will but your will be done then we have learned to crucify the flesh .. immediately as we are prompted by The Sprit … then the one drop of rain becomes a downpour of fruit bearing rain watering our tree we have planted by the streams .. where are leaves never wither and in due season bear much fruit and everything we do will succeed …. well Father as the little flowers know if it never never rains the we’d never never grow .. so let it rain let it rain let it pour …
